Bio
Daniel Reyes Taha is a composer, sound designer, and educator.
A Master of Arts in Composition from Universidad de Chile. His works have premiered on prominent stages, such as the XIX Meeting of Contemporary Chilean Music of the UACh in 2016 and the XIX International Festival of Contemporary Music of the Universidad de Chile in 2019. In 2017 he was selected to participate in the International Composition Course Synthetis 2017, in Poland. In 2023 a work for piano and electronics will be premiered, commissioned for a project financed by the Ministry of Culture of Chile. He was granted the Fondo de la Música in 2015 with his project “Yanantin, Six Pieces for Solo Piano” and in 2019 a grant by the Chilean Ministry of Culture to finance his master’s degree. Since 2016 to date, he has been a Music Composition professor at the Escuela Moderna de Música y Danza. |
